Marston Moor Cup
After successfully reaching the top of their heat at the Marston Moor Festival, the Contact Rugby team made it to the final at the York 9’s Rugby Festival, held at Heworth Rugby Club.
They met Tockwith in the final and managed a successful defeat of 24 points to 4. All the players thoroughly enjoyed their day and were presented with their trophy by current Super League and past York player, Danny Brough.
This is the second time CwR have won the Marston Moor Cup and is a credit to all the coaching from York City Knights.
